The Gombe State High Court on Wednesday 7 of October 2026 sentenced Buhari Sule and Muktari Ali Hilami to death by hanging for the armed robbery and murder of 35-year-old Murtala Rabi’u in Akko Local Government Area of the state.
Justice Muhammad-Auwal Haruna, who presided over the case at Court No. 5 in Gombe, found the two men guilty of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery and culpable homicide over the September 18, 2025 attack on Rabi’u at Garin Galadima village, near Pindiga, The PUNCH reports.
